  1. we use Sharepoint to support many process for our ITIL and ISO20000 implementation. But something we cannot make and is vital to the Management System is the CMDB, witch is the backbone of ITIL and itSM.

  2. briankseitz says:

Part of the deliverable I created for my customer was an initial version of a CMDB. It relates the underlying technologies and processes used to support the services provided. The next phase is to add performance monitoring and management

I’ve submitted an abstracts to Microsoft to present at SharePoint 2011 Conference in Anaheim October anda mini version for SharePoint Saturday The Conference in Washington DC August. I’ll know whether I’m presenting at either by end of month.

I did a simlair type of system for IBM and Samsung building a product marketing in FY2000 – 2005 –still in operation– that is ISO9000 compliance incorporating CMMI and Six Sigma concepts. The system enables generating ISO9000 records automatically by following the workflow. Audits are a breeze now.
